GenForce NGRs and Dual Fuel System; The Answer to DG Set ban in Delhi-NCR

In light of recent directives issued by the Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas (CAQM), GenForce, a leading provider of power solutions brand of Rishabh Engineering Company, is proud to introduce its ground breaking technology that addresses the concerns surrounding air pollution caused by Diesel Generator (DG) sets. GenForce now offers a comprehensive solution through its Natural Gas Retro Fitment System NGRs and Dual Fuel system, eliminating the need for complete generator replacement while ensuring compliance with air quality regulations.

The CAQM has taken a proactive stance in curbing air pollution in the National Capital Region (NCR), particularly caused by DG sets. These sets, which are commonly used in the industrial and commercial sectors, have been identified as significant contributors to the deterioration of air quality in the region. Unregulated usage, coupled with inadequate emission control measures, has prompted the need for stricter regulations and innovative solutions.

Under Direction No. 73 issued by CAQM, DG sets of up to 800 kW capacity are now required to be converted to a dual fuel system, comprising 70% natural gas and 30% diesel, in areas where gas infrastructure and supply are available. This move aims to comprehensively prevent, control, and abate air pollution caused by DG sets in the NCR.

Recognizing the need for a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution, GenForce has developed the NGRS and Dual Fuel system, which allows existing DG sets to be retrofitted with the necessary equipment for compliance. By integrating this innovative technology, businesses can continue to utilize their generators while significantly reducing their environmental impact.

The NGRS technology offered by GenForce ensures that in-use DG sets, up to the 125 kVA power category, can be converted to 100% mono Natural Gas Fuel. These diesel generators once fitted with GenForce NGRs then can run 100% on gas & can be used in Delhi (NCR) without any further compliances for unlimited hours without any restrictions even in GRAP period. For generators above than 125 kVA Genforce DFS (Dual Fuel System) can be easily installed which enables existing CPCB 1 & 2 certified diesel generators to be converted to run on 70% PNG & 30% Diesel. Once fitted with DFS these diesel generators can then be used & made to run without any hassle as per point no 3 & 4 of Direction 73 of the latest CAQM Notice. The integration of the Dual Fuel system enables DG sets to operate on a combination of natural gas and diesel, reducing reliance on diesel fuel and its associated emissions. GenForce's cutting-edge engineering ensures seamless integration of this system, maximizing generator efficiency while promoting cleaner energy sources.

Speaking on this latest development, the CEO stated, "At GenForce, we are committed to providing sustainable power solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Our NGRS and Dual Fuel system allow businesses to comply with air quality regulations without the necessity of replacing their entire generator sets. By offering a comprehensive retrofit solution, we aim to contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment. Our products are backed by American technology & will boost of market supremacy in technology"

What sets them apart in the industry is that there NGRs & DFS systems can be installed on almost all available diesel generators brands right like Kirloskar Green (KOEL), Cummins ( Sudhir Generators & Jakson Generators ), Jakpower Generators, TATA Generators, Mahindra Generators, Ashok Leyland Generators, Volvo Eicher Generators, Escorts generators, and Kohler generators.
GenForce has conducted workshops with several Industrial associations for helping them manage this situation, reducing there expense by giving them solutions to convert their existing diesel generators & comply with latest environmental norms.
GenForce encourages businesses in the NCR region to embrace this technological advancement as a proactive measure to combat air pollution and align with environmental sustainability goals. With the integration of NGRs and Dual Fuel system, industrial and commercial sectors can continue to operate their DG sets efficiently while significantly reducing their carbon footprint.
